As a fit and healthy person, it was very distressing to suddenly find myself in hospital with a serious and unusual liver problem but I was lucky to be seen by Professor Moore from the outset of my illness.  The care and medical attention I received from him was incomparable; he helped me through a prolonged period of illness back to perfect health, always reassuring me that I would recover and taking the time to explain to me and my family what was going on, what to expect and treating us all with extreme kindness.

As always, thank you for everything you do for me – you are still my favourite consultant!!!

Further to our recent consultation, I would like to thank you for the invaluable support I have received over the last couple of years. In particular I have found the role of Psychotherapy key in my ongoing recovery supporting me through the challenging transition from alcohol dependency to living alcohol free. This has been from a place of very low self-esteem, confusion, self-doubt and little confidence in my ability to make sound decisions. For this, I am most grateful.
