Medical training
Professor Kevin Moore trained in Medicine at King’s College Hospital in London, qualifying in 1983. He later specialised in gastroenterology as well as clinical pharmacology and therapeutics gaining a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Gastroenterology, Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics as well as General Internal Medicine.
In his early career he was registrar in hepatolology and MRC Training Fellow at the King’s College Liver Unit, before becoming Senior Registrar at the Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Postgraduate Medical School, a position he held until being appointed as a MRC Senior Clinical Fellow and Consultant Physician and hepatologist at the Royal Free Hospital, and is now Professor of Hepatology.
